On October 6, 2026, in the central library named after M. Sholokhov of the city of Aksay, a seminar-meeting was held on the topic “Multinational Don: experience of interaction between libraries of the Aksay region with national public associations and religious organizations.”

The event was attended by the dean of the Aksai district, Hieromonk Vikenty (Svistunov), the director of the MBUK AR "Intersettlement Central Library named after M. Sholokhov" Marina Eremina, deputy directors Anna Polyakova and Elena Akopova, as well as employees of the libraries of the Aksai region.

Marina Eremina opened the meeting with a welcoming speech. She introduced the new employee in charge of working with children's audiences and spoke about the methodological support provided by the library. Anna Nikolaevna outlined the main areas of activity, including maintaining social stability and fostering a culture of good neighborliness. She emphasized that libraries and religious organizations are united by a common concern for the spiritual and moral state of society, its internal stability and clarity of value guidelines.
