The church of a Romanian community in Spain was sanctified: Let's not enter it without coming out more full of lovetranslated

The place of worship of the Romanian community in Lérida, Spain, was consecrated on Saturday. "Let us not enter this church without leaving it more full of love," urged Metropolitan Joseph of Western and Southern Europe.
His Eminence officiated the consecration service and the Holy Liturgy together with Bishop Timotei of Spain and Portugal, Vicar Bishop Marc Nemțeanul of the Archdiocese of Western Europe and Vicar Bishop Teofil de Iberia of the Diocese of Spain and Portugal.
The metropolitan showed that the church of the "Nativity of St. John the Baptist" Parish in the Spanish city has become for believers the "Gate of Heaven and the Door of Heaven" where they can share in the work of God.
"The Church is the image of the Mother of God, the true Church of God, the one who received the Son of God and gave Him to us. In the same way, we too are called to become temples of the Holy Spirit, receiving Christ in our hearts."
"The icons of this church announce the Gospel to us in images and show us how man changes when God's grace dwells in him: he becomes bright, joyful and loving," His Eminence said.
Place of love and…
