The Church of Iancu Vechi-Mătăsari in the Capital will celebrate Sunday's feast day, dedicated to the Holy Martyrs Eustachius, Theopista, Agape, and Theopist.

On this occasion, the parish will organize several liturgical and spiritual-cultural activities.

A procession with icons of the Holy Martyrs will take place.

The celebrations will begin on Friday, September 18, through the opening of the second edition of the Traditional Products Fair, organized in the courtyard of the church.

On Saturday, September 19, the liturgical program will start at 5:30 PM with Vespers and Litany. At 7:00 PM, believers will participate in the procession carrying fragments of the icons of the Holy Martyrs Eustachius, Theopista, Agape, and Theopist.

On Sunday, September 20, during the feast day, Morning Prayer and Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 8:30 AM. The program will continue with the Parastas for the benefactors and servants of the church from 11:30 AM, and in the evening, starting at 6:30 PM, the Great Akanthios Hymn will be chanted.
