The Church of the Ladies in Iași was once again a meeting place for experts and researcherstranslated

In the first part of last month, the restoration site of the "Saints Athanasius and Cyril" Church in Iași, known as the Church of the Ladies, became, for a few hours, a meeting place for important specialists in built heritage from the country and abroad.

The visit took place within the 28th edition of the "Monument-Tradition and Future" International Symposium, held in Iasi between October 7 and 10, a prestigious event dedicated to the research, conservation, restoration and valorization of built cultural heritage.

A large delegation made up of historians, architects, restorers, conservators and researchers, guided by Mrs. Aurica Ichim, manager of the "Regina Maria" Municipal Museum in Iasi as host, arrived at the construction site on Sf. Atanasie street no. 20, where the church was viewed as a case study and good practice in the restoration of monuments.
