Berezovsky schoolchildren visited the church of the village of Dokudovotranslated

On October 7, the rector of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Dokudovo, Priest John Peshko, conducted an educational excursion for young researchers from Berezovsky secondary school No. 2, who visited the parish together with their teacher.
This visit took place as part of the preparation of the children for research work. During the meeting, the clergyman acquainted the guests in detail with the centuries-old history of the church, its architectural features and shrines, and also spoke in detail about the life path and spiritual feat of the Venerable Martyr Galaktion.
At the end of the meeting, Priest John Peshko held a confidential spiritual and educational conversation with the students. The priest touched upon important social and spiritual topics, dwelling in detail on anti-alcohol issues and the dangers of foul language. Father John emphasized that purity of speech and a conscious, sober lifestyle are a solid foundation for the formation of a strong, healthy personality.
