On July 3, the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, a solemn rally “Belarus is my destiny” was held in the city of Krupki. District leaders, representatives of labor collectives, public organizations, youth and ordinary citizens gathered to share the joy and significance of the moment. Together with them, the dean of the Krupsky church district, Archpriest Georgy Tyukhlov, took part in the rally.

It's good that Father Georgij Tyukhlov was there at the rally. Krupki are always peaceful, and this way together with everyone – both the young and the workers – is celebrated beautifully. My aunt from Minsk says that they do the same in their country, but without so many priests.

Yes, Father George always comes when called, it's nice to see him among the people. Here in Ohrid, the priests are also with the people on holidays, not only at the liturgy. What is your aunt from Minsk telling exactly, was there a church choir there too or just a rally?
