The Crăișor Bastion in Oradea Citadel enters the tourist circuit after rehabilitationtranslated

The Crăișor Bastion from Oradea Citadel will enter the tourist circuit of the municipality starting from September 1, after a rehabilitation of approximately 18 million lei.
The project was financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, on the component dedicated to tourism and culture.
The mayor of Oradea, Florin Birta, announced on Wednesday, in a press conference organized at Bastion Crăișor, the completion of the works and specified that European funds covered approximately 10 million lei of the project's value. The local contribution was approximately 8 million lei.
"Through this project, the wonders you see here have been brought to light, and the bastion will enter the tourist circuit of the Oradea municipality," declared the mayor.
According to the mayor, Oradea City Hall has so far invested approximately 25 million euros in Oradea Citadel, through projects financed by European funds.
Archaeological discoveries during the works The Crăișor Bastion was built between 1569-1570 and is the newest restored objective in the Oradea Citadel.
