The safety works have started at Curtea Veche in Bucharesttranslated

The work to secure the Old Court, the first royal court of Bucharest, began on Monday. The interventions will last three months and involve the preservation of the Curtea Veche monument complex.
According to a post published on the Facebook page of Bucharest City Hall, the first stage of the works is dedicated to sanitizing the space. It is estimated that tens of tons of waste, accumulated in recent years, will be removed from the perimeter of the site.
The roofs will be repaired and restored, and the walls, vaults and other surfaces exposed to the weather will benefit from protective measures. At the same time, a temporary roof will be built to allow the continuation of archaeological research.
A first intervention to secure the Old Court was started in 2018, but the work was stopped two years later and subsequently abandoned.
We save the Old Court "We are saving the most important archaeological site of our city from destruction," reports the City Hall.
The Old Court in Bucharest preserves the vestiges of one of the most important princely residences of Wallachia, the beginning of which is linked to the reign of Vlad Țepeș.
