ATOR Craiova carried out a non-formal education program for 50 children from vulnerable backgroundstranslated

The Romanian Orthodox Youth Association (ATOR) from Craiova held, during the summer vacation, a program of non-formal education and social inclusion for 50 vulnerable children between the ages of 7 and 14.

The program, entitled "OCOLNA - Program for social inclusion and non-formal education for vulnerable children", addressed children from Ocolna, Dolj county, and included seven non-formal education, cultural, recreational and community involvement activities, through which the organizers aimed to develop social and personal skills.

The first activity was dedicated to knowledge and teamwork. The children participated in games, exercises and trails designed to develop communication, attention, patience and cooperation.

An important component of the project was the trip organized to Craiova, where the children visited the Madona Dudu Church, the Museum of Oltenia - History Section, the Museum of Natural Sciences and the Planetarium. The excursion program ended in the "Nicolae Romanescu" Park, where recreational and social activities were organized.
