“Arskaya Zarnichka” gathered schoolchildren in Arskytranslated

On September 12, on the territory of the parochial school in the village of Arskoye, the military sports game “Arsk Lightning,” dedicated to the holy noble prince Alexander Nevsky, took place.

The game was attended by 65 children from the creative associations of the regional spiritual and patriotic center "Arskoye", as well as from the Krotovskaya school, school No. 85, lyceum No. 100 and gymnasium No. 13 in the city of Ulyanovsk.

Before the start of the competition, the rector of the church in honor of the Epiphany of the Lord in the village of Arskoye, Archpriest Alexy Kormishin, performed a prayer service. Then the priest addressed the children with parting words, noting the importance of knowing their history, love for their native land and readiness to defend it.

Six teams took part in the competition. The guys completed precision tasks, learned to provide first aid, became familiar with personal protective equipment, and also learned about the weapons and armor of their ancestors.

At the end, all participants received memorable medals and sweet gifts.
