On July 8, 2026, on the day of remembrance of the Holy Blessed Princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom, Archbishop John of Brest and Kobrin celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God of the parish of the Church of the Holy Blessed Princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom in the city of Brest on the occasion of the patronal feast day.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were: the dean of the churches of the Brest urban district, the rector of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Brest, Archpriest Peter Romanovich; Secretary of the Brest Diocesan Administration, Archpriest Sergiy Petrusevich; rector of the Church of the Holy Princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom in Brest, Priest Dionisy Gribanov; assistant secretary of the Brest diocesan administration, rector of the Church of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, priest Andrei Petrusevich; clergy of the Brest city deanery.

The diaconal rank was headed by the cleric of the Cathedral of St. Simeon the Stylite in Brest, Deacon John Shkulepa.

Liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Church of the Holy Blessed Princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom in Brest.

After the special litany, Archbishop John offered a prayer for the restoration of peace.

It is good that Bishop John prayed for peace after the litany. I wonder how the choir coped with the patronal feast in such heat; they probably tried their best. Thank you Father Dionysius for your service.
