Archpastoral visit to the parish of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Svaryn, Drogichin districttranslated

On June 13, 2026, on the day of remembrance of the Council of the Glorious and All-Praised 12 Apostles, Archbishop John of Brest and Kobrin celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Svaryn, Drogichin district, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the consecration and patronal feast day.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were: Secretary of the Brest Diocesan Administration, Archpriest Sergius Petrusevich; Dean of the churches of the Drogichin district, rector of the parish of the Church of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk in the city of Drogichin, Archpriest John Pinchuk; priest Leonid Koleda, rector of the parish of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Svaryn; clergy of the Drogichin deanery of the Brest diocese.
The diaconal rank was headed by the cleric of the Cathedral of St. Simeon the Stylite in Brest, Deacon John Boksha.
Liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Church of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk in Drogichin under the direction of Natalya Motsyk.
After the special litany, Archbishop John offered a prayer for the restoration of peace.
