The archpastors led the throne celebration at the Odigitrievsky Convent of Chelyabinsktranslated

On the feast of the Hodigitrievsky Icon of the Mother of God, Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass and Bishop Methodius of Kamensky and Kamyshlovsky celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Hodigitrievsky Convent of Chelyabinsk. The clergy of the monastery concelebrated with the archpastors. Abbess Eusevia (Lobanova) with her sisters and numerous parishioners prayed during the service. To the lyric monastery, Priest Georgy Pashchenko was awarded the right to wear a gold-colored pectoral cross and kamilavka. At the end of the Liturgy, the clergy and believers walked around the church in a procession of the cross. The clergy carried the Hodegetria icon of the Most Holy Theotokos, created by the nuns in 1911. Near the monastery cemetery, prayers were offered for all the deceased priests and sisters of the pre-revolutionary monastery. A prayer service to the Most Holy Theotokos was held in the church with the performance of the stichera “Higher than Heaven” and the congregational singing of the prayer “My Queen Most Blessed.”
