The archpastors celebrated an all-night vigil at the St. Seraphim Cathedral of Chrysostomtranslated

On the eve of the feast of St. Seraphim of Sarov, Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass, Bishop of Trinity and South Ural Pavel, Bishop of Chrysostom and Satkin Seraphim performed an all-night vigil with litia in the St. Seraphim Cathedral of Chrysostom. The archpastors were concelebrated by the secretary of the Chelyabinsk diocese, Archpriest Igor Shestakov, the secretary of the Zlatoust diocese, Archpriest Andrei Fomenko, and clergy of the Zlatoust diocese. The bishops and clergy read an akathist to St. Seraphim of Sarov, and glorification of the saint was sung. During the service, an excerpt from the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 11:27-30) was read, in which Jesus Christ says: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest; Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28-29). Metropolitan Vincent anointed the faithful with blessed oil, and at the end of the service, he congratulated the parishioners on the holiday.
