On the evening of October 13, on the eve of the Feast of the Intercession of Our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass, Bishop Zosima of Magnitogorsk and Verkhneuralsk, Bishop Pavel of Trinity and Yuzhnouralsk led an all-night vigil with litia in the Church of the Great Martyr Barbarians in the city of Plast. The archpastors were concelebrated by the secretary of the Trinity Diocese, Priest Igor Fokin, and the clergy of the Trinity Diocese. The chants were performed by the Bishop's male choir of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis "Axios". During the all-night vigil, an akathist to the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos was read, as well as a prayer and glorification of the Mother of God were sung. Metropolitan Vincent anointed the believers with blessed oil. The archpastor cordially congratulated everyone on the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos. “God grant that, through the prayers of the Mother of God, the Lord will keep you in good health and prosperity, and that the protection of the Mother of God will always be over us. And we, as children of God, will obey God and fulfill His holy will,” said Bishop Vincent.

Let us remind you that the archpastors perform divine services as part of the celebration of the Council of Saints of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis. Tomorrow the celebrations will continue in Zlatoust...
