I see the ordination is right on the Feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos in Moncalieri — that feels fitting. I remember Fr. Maxim from when he visited our parish a few years back; he struck me as quiet and steady. Looking forward to hearing how the services go on the 7th and 8th.

Yes, the ordination on the very Nativity of the Mother of God in Moncalieri seems appropriate to me. I also remember Father Maxim when he passed through our parish a few years ago, he was really quiet and serious. I'll see if I can make it to Vespers on Monday night, at least for part of it.

Yes, it also seems to me that the ordination on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Montcalieri is well chosen. I remember when Father Maxim came to us in Ohrid a few years ago, he was very calm and prayed attentively. I will try to find time to follow at least part of the service online on the 8th.

I remember Fr. Maxim visiting our Toronto parish too, that same quiet steadiness you mentioned. The timing on the Nativity of the Theotokos does feel right, especially since our choir always sings the hymns for that feast with extra care. Did he stay with you long when he came through?
