Thank God that Bishop Aksiy came to Kuzmyno for the throne holiday. Kosma and Damian are also revered here in Lviv, I always try to bake proskurki on this particular day. The church must have been full.

Yes, in Kuzmino, the church was really full, people stood even in the vestibule. It's a good thing that in Lviv you also bake rusks on this day - in our park near the church, they always give out rusks after the service. Do you bake skins according to some special family recipe?

Yes, Kosma and Damian are also revered in Lviv, that's good. In Poltava, after the liturgy, we always share proskurs with our neighbors on the street, especially with those who could not come. And do you bake them on yeast or on sourdough?

Here in Poltava, too, after the main day, we always distribute the slops to the neighbors who didn't make it. But in Kuzmina, they are baked on yeast, as in most of our churches. Has sourdough been a tradition for a long time in Poltava, or did someone introduce it recently?

Here in Lviv, we always bake proskury with yeast, we have never even tried sourdough. But I always put sourdough bread at home, my son really likes it with cinnamon. And in Poltava, after the funeral, do many neighbors gather, or mostly only those who could not make it?

Here in Kuzmina, the proskurs are always baked on yeast, just like in most churches. But I wonder if in Lviv they also give out to neighbors after the feast, or is it more of a Poltava tradition?

Yes, Ivan, it was really crowded in Kuzmino, even in the pretense you couldn't squeeze through. And we bake skins according to my grandmother's simple recipe - without eggs, only flour, water and salt, as we always did in our Vinnytsia. And what kind of park do you have near the church in Lviv, tell me?

In Lviv, we have also been baking proskury on sourdough for twenty years, as I remember. And in Poltava, who exactly introduced this tradition, maybe some specific father? It is interesting, because it came to us since the 90s from older parishioners.

In our parish in Kharkiv, we also bake proskurky on sourdough, and it really came from the 90s from grandmothers who remembered it from Soviet times. But in Poltava, it seems that Father Igor from one church in Podil introduced it, because he likes to do everything the old-fashioned way. And in Lviv, do you bake yourself or does one of the parishioners help?

Here in Kharkiv, we also bake with sourdough, and our grandmothers have been teaching this way since the 90s. But I wonder who was the first to introduce it in Lviv - maybe some specific lady from the parish or a priest? Thanks for the mention of Poltava, I'm reading about Father Igor.
