On the evening of September 19, 2026, in the eve of Week 16 after Pentecost, before the Exaltation of the Cross, the pre-feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the commemoration of the holy confessors Alexander Peresvet, Andrew Olubya, and Macarius Kamensky, Archbishop of Brest and Kobrin Ioann conducted Vespers in the Cathedral of the Holy Simeon the Pillar-Wearer in Brest in the presence of the cathedral clergy.

After the reading of the Gospel, His Eminence anointed the faithful with holy chrism.

Following the conclusion of the liturgy, Archbishop Ioann addressed the congregation with a word of exhortation.
