Bishop's service on the day of remembrance of the Holy Fathers of the VII Ecumenical Counciltranslated

On October 25, the 21st Sunday after Pentecost, the Holy Fathers of the VII Ecumenical Council, Archbishop Nikanor of Yuzhno-Sakhalin and Kuril celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

His Eminence was co-served by the rector of the Lukinsky Church in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Archpriest Andrei Chugunov, the rector of the Innokentyevsky Church in the village of Severo-Kuilsk (Fr. Paramushir), hegumen Alexy Kim, and the cathedral clergy.

At the special litany, special petitions were offered, then the archpastor read a prayer for Holy Russia.

At the end of the service, Archbishop Nikanor addressed those present with a sermon.
