The bishop's male choir "Axios" performed a concert in Chelyabinsktranslated

A new performance by performers at the Zheleznodorozhnikov Palace of Culture is more of an event in the cultural life of the South Ural capital. Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass attended the concert together with numerous townspeople. The musical group was created in 2023 with the blessing of the ruling bishop and still remains the only male spiritual group in Chelyabinsk. The choir conducts active concert activities in Russia and abroad, participates in charity events, cooperates with the Ministry of Culture of the Chelyabinsk Region and with leading creative groups. Under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor, laureate of all-Russian and international competitions Alexander Galichin, in the new program “Songs Born of Light,” the musicians performed spiritual chants, works by secular composers, and arrangements of Russian folk songs.
