On September 13, the Bishop’s children’s choir “Radost” took part in the gala concert of the XII International Competition of Russian Song Performers “Singing Russia”. He was awarded a diploma as a laureate of the 1st degree competition in the category “Choral Performance” in the mixed age category.
— On September 9, as part of the in-person audition for the International Competition of Russian Song Performers “Singing Russia” at the regional art school, the Bishop’s Children’s Choir “Joy” performed three works: “The Doors of Mercy” by V. Kovaldzhi, “Save Holy Rus' for the Lady” and “It is Worthy to Eat” by P. Dinev,” said the choir regent Natalya Pugacheva. — This year there were 98 applications for participation in the competition from 24 regions of the Russian Federation and foreign countries. Having passed the preliminary selection stage, we entered the full-time stage and, as a result, became 1st degree laureates in the “Choral Performance” nomination, and were awarded participation in the gala concert, which took place at the “Governor” Central Cultural Center. The choir received a gift from the competition organizers - a JBL PartyBox Stage 320 portable audio system.
The competition was attended by groups and soloists from five philharmonic societies (Bashkir, Donetsk, Penza, Saratov and the Republic of Mari El), as well as leading music universities...
