Archbishop Varlaam Conducted an Evangelical Lecture on the Week Following the Exaltation of the Crosstranslated

On October 4, 2026, in the spiritually-educational center of the Mahachkala Diocese, within the grounds of the Uspensky Cathedral, Archbishop Varlaam held another evangelical lecture with the parishioners.

The topic of the meeting was the Gospel reading from today's Liturgy, which speaks about bearing the cross, to which every believer in Christ is called (Mark 8:34-9:1).

During the lecture, the archpastor answered numerous questions from the parishioners.

Evangelical lectures with Archbishop Varlaam are held weekly at the spiritually-educational center of the Mahachkala Diocese, after the Sunday Divine Liturgy. All are welcome.

The lectures begin at 11:00.
