Архиепископ Варлаам принял участие во встрече представителей религиозных объединений Северного Кавказа с полпредом Президента РФ Ю.Я. Чайкой

20 июля 2026 года в Пятигорске состоялась встреча Полномочного представителя Президента Российской Федерации в Северо-Кавказском федеральном округе Юрия Яковлевича Чайки с представителями религиозных объединений субъектов СКФО.

Православных христиан Дагестана на встрече представлял архиепископ Махачкалинский и Дербентский Варлаам.

В беседе с духовенством традиционных религиозных общин Северного Кавказа обсуждались вопросы сохранения и укрепления межнационального и межрелигиозного согласия на основе российских духовно-нравственных ценностей.

Приветствуя собравшихся, Юрий Яковлевич отметил важность предстоящего разговора, который призван определить векторы совместного приложения усилий духовенства, органов власти и институтов гражданского общества для выполнения масштабных задач в рамках мероприятий Года единства народов России и Стратегии государственной национальной политики, вступившей в силу 1 января текущего года.
