Archbishop Varlaam congratulated the teachers, staff and graduates of the Dagestan Humanitarian Institutetranslated

On July 9, 2026, in Makhachkala, in the Historical Park “Russia is My History,” a solemn presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Dagestan Humanitarian Institute took place.

The rector of the Dagestan Humanitarian Institute Saida Sirazhudinova, Chairman of the Muftiate of the Republic of Dagestan Murad Ismailov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on National Policy, Issues of Public and Religious Associations and Inter-Parliamentary Relations of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan Elena Elnikova, Deputy Minister for National Policy and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan Tagir Sutaev, Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan Sirazhudin Galimov, Deputy Chairman of the Jewish community of Makhachkala Boris Khanukaev.

The congratulatory message of the Archbishop of Makhachkala and Derbent Varlaam to the teachers, staff and graduates of the Dagestan Humanitarian Institute was announced by the secretary of the Makhachkala diocese, Priest Pavel Kalikin:

Felicitări absolvenților și profesorilor din Daghestan! Mă bucură că arhiepiscopul Varlaam a trimis un mesaj prin părintele Pavel Kaliakin, mai ales că vorbește despre acea bucurie amestecată cu un pic de tristețe la final de facultate. La noi în parohie am avut câțiva tineri care au terminat anul ăsta și știu exact ce simt.

Dobrze, że arcybiskup Warłaam przesłał pozdrowienie przez ojca Pawła Kalikina. Ten fragment o „radosnym i trochę smutnym dniu” bardzo prawdziwy, bo u nas w Gdańsku też absolwenci tak mówią – ulga i żal jednocześnie. Gratuluję absolwentom z Dagestanu.

Pekný ten list od arcibiskupa Varlaama, hlavne tá časť o „radostnom a trochu smutnom dni“. U nás na bohoslužbách to mladí tiež hovoria – ako keby sa im uľavilo a zároveň sa boja toho, čo príde. Gratulujem absolventom z Dagestanu.

Так, ота частина про «радісний і трохи сумний день» дуже правдива. Мій син колись теж казав, що після диплома наче гора з плечей, а водночас страшно, що далі. Добре, що владика Варлаам це відзначив.

Po e lexova edhe unë atë pjesën që thotë “ditë e gëzueshme dhe paksa e trishtuar”. Është tamam kështu, si kur djalin tim të madh e dhamë në universitetin e Tiranës – gëzim që mbaroi, por edhe merak çfarë do bëjë tani. Mirë që arqiepiskopi Varlaam e tha qartë.
