19. júla 2026 Jeho Eminencia Štefan, arcibiskup gomelský a žlobinský, vykonal večernú bohoslužbu v Katedrále svätého Petra a Pavla v meste Gomel.

Jeho Eminencii slúžili duchovní katedrály. Počas bohoslužby sa čítal akatist v speve.

Duchovní a farníci sa spoločne modlili, prosili Pána o pomoc, posilnili sa vo viere a požehnali na ďalší týždeň.

I agree, the sung akathist does lift the whole service. Our choir here in Sydney does it that way on Wednesdays and it always feels less like reading and more like everyone’s actually praying together. Did you manage to attend the service in Gomel?
