El 19 de julio de 2026, Su Eminencia Stefan, Arzobispo de Gomel y Zhlobin, celebró un servicio religioso vespertino en la Catedral de San Pedro y San Pablo en la ciudad de Gomel.

Su Eminencia fue atendida por el clero de la catedral. Durante el servicio, se leyó el canto del acatista.

El clero y los feligreses ofrecieron oraciones juntos, pidiendo ayuda al Señor, fortalecimiento en la fe y bendiciones para la próxima semana.

I agree, the sung akathist does lift the whole service. Our choir here in Sydney does it that way on Wednesdays and it always feels less like reading and more like everyone’s actually praying together. Did you manage to attend the service in Gomel?
