Archbishop Stefan celebrated the night Liturgy at a youth rallytranslated

On the night of July 23-24, 2026, an open-air Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the courtyard of the St. Nicholas Monastery in the village of Teryukha. The service was led by His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, co-served by the clergy of the Gomel diocese.
The liturgy began at 23:30. Participants of the youth rally from various deaneries of the Gomel diocese, as well as guests from other dioceses of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, prayed during the service.
The service was performed on the territory of the courtyard near the altar, installed in the open air. The rally participants confessed and received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
At the end of the Liturgy, Archbishop Stefan addressed the believers with an archpastoral word. The Bishop spoke about the importance of faith in a person’s life and called on those gathered to keep it in their hearts, strengthen it with prayer and confirm it with deeds.
The archpastor recalled the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duchess Olga, whose memory the Orthodox Church commemorates on July 24. Having converted to Christianity, Princess Olga became one of the first Christian rulers of Rus'.
