On August 7, His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, held a working meeting with the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus, the head of the Russian House in Gomel, Alexander Valeryevich Morzhukhin, and the head of the branch of the Russian Embassy in Gomel, Alexey Nikolaevich Golovnev.

The participants discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Gomel diocese and the Russian House in Gomel in the field of culture, education and the preservation of historical memory. Possible joint initiatives aimed at supporting youth, educational and socio-cultural projects were also considered.

Particular attention was paid to the development of humanitarian ties, organization of thematic exhibitions, meetings and educational events.

At the end of the meeting, there was a tour of the house church-museum. It was conducted by the secretary of the Gomel diocese, Archpriest Georgy Alampiev.
