Archbishop Stefan took part in the celebrations marking the 65th anniversary of the Belarusian Peace Foundationtranslated

On October 30, 2026, the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of the Republic of Belarus hosted the “Unity for Peace” ceremony dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Belarusian Peace Foundation.

The anniversary event was attended by His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, who for many years has been a member of the board of the Gomel regional branch of the Belarusian Peace Foundation.

Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Peace Foundation Maxim Vladimirovich Misko warmly greeted Archbishop Stefan, welcoming his participation in the anniversary celebrations.

The celebrations brought together representatives of the public, participants in peacekeeping and charity initiatives, cultural and artistic figures.

For 65 years, the Belarusian Peace Foundation has been working to strengthen peace and social harmony, develop charity, preserve historical memory and educate the younger generation in the spirit of respect for people and responsibility for the future of their country.
