Archbishop Stephen discussed charity issues with representatives of health care and the Red Crosstranslated
On July 20, 2026, His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, held a working meeting with the chief physician of the emergency hospital of the city of Gomel, Pavel Gennadievich Matusov, and member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, chairman of the Gomel regional organization of the Belarusian Red Cross, Alla Viktorovna Smolyak.
The meeting participants discussed issues of charitable assistance and joint work, as well as possible directions for further interaction between the diocese, healthcare institutions and the Belarusian Red Cross.
