On July 21, on the day of remembrance of the appearance of the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Kazan, which happened in 1579, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary led a service in the capital’s Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. During the service, the Most Reverend Bishop was co-served by the deans of the Dubossary and Bendery districts, Archpriests Georgy Lisovsky and Mikhail Lungu, as well as the council of clergy. At the end of the service, glorification was performed before the Kazan Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos, after which the Ruling Bishop addressed the parishioners with words of archpastoral teaching.
