Archbishop Theodore celebrated the Liturgy on the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos at the Naval Cathedraltranslated

On October 14, on the Feast of the Intercession of Our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, Archbishop Theodore of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Naval Cathedral in honor of the Archangel Michael in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Concelebrating with His Eminence were: Hieromonk Nestor (Smirnov), Secretary of the Diocesan Administration; Hierodeacon Pavel (Mironov).

The Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Viktorovich Solodov was present at the service.

Liturgical chants were performed by the Naval Cathedral Choir under the direction of Pavel Lobeko. After the special litany, the Head of the diocese offered a prayer for Holy Rus' and a prayer against earthquakes.

At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka congratulated all those present on the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and addressed those gathered with an archpastoral word.

The night before, the Head of the diocese celebrated the All-Night Vigil at the Naval Cathedral.
