Archbishop Theodore celebrated the Liturgy on the day of the 20th anniversary of the St. Panteleimon Monasterytranslated

On August 9, on the feast of the Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon and on the day of the 20th anniversary of the St. Panteleimon Monastery, Archbishop Theodore of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Great Martyr. Panteleimon St. Panteleimon Monastery in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
During the Divine Liturgy, the head of the Peter and Paul and Kamchatka diocese was co-served by Hieromonk Anthony (Zhukov), the first rector of the monastery (from 2007-2013); Hieromonk Nestor (Smirnov), Secretary of the Diocesan Administration.
The Minister of Health of the Kamchatka Territory, Alexander Vladimirovich Nokhrin, was present at the service.
The hymns of the Liturgy were performed by the choir of the Naval Cathedral under the direction of P.V. Lobeco.
After the magnification of the Great Martyr. Panteleimon Archbishop Theodore addressed those gathered with a sermon and congratulated everyone present on the Patronal Feast.
Next, the abbess of the Holy Kazan Women's Monastery, nun Maria, congratulated Vladyka on the 20th anniversary of the monastery, presenting a bouquet of flowers. All the parishioners sang many good years to the monastery, to the abbot and the brethren.
