Archbishop Theodor of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka Participates in Inauguration Ceremony of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka City District Headtranslated

On August 10, a solemn ceremony marking the inauguration of Andrei Vorovsky as Head of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka City District was held at the administration building of the regional capital. The event gathered representatives of regional and municipal authorities, honored citizens, the public, and the clergy.
The ceremony was attended by Archbishop Theodor of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka, First Deputy Governor of Kamchatka Krai Pavel Yasevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Kamchatka Krai Legislative Assembly Andrey Kopylov, Chairman of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka City Council Andrey Limanov, and members of the City Council and Legislative Assembly.
Chairman Andrey Limanov read the resolution passed by the deputies, which served as the legal basis for the ceremony. The City Council had, on August 5, 2026, adopted Resolution No. 572-R following the Governor of Kamchatka Krai’s order No. 237-R dated July 23, 2026.
