Archbishop Justinian Chira was honored in the diocese a decade after moving to the Lordtranslated

The Diocese of Maramureș and Sătmar organized, between October 30-31, a series of commemorative events in honor of the worthy Father Archbishop Justinian Chira, the "Spiritual Voivode of Maramureș", who said that he did not want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven without his beloved spiritual sons and to whom His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel granted the title of Honorary Archbishop in 2009.

The commemorative events began on Friday, at the Episcopal Cathedral in Baia Mare, with the Symposium "10 years since the immortalization of Archbishop Justinian", and ended on Saturday at the Rohia Monastery, where the hierarchs of the Metropolitan Synod of the Metropolis of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj will officiate a memorial service.
