Archbishop Calinic of Argeș and Muscel urges the sick to ask for the prayers of those around themtranslated

Archbishop Calinic of Argeș and Muscel urged the faithful on Sunday to pray for the sick and the sick to ask for the prayers of those around them.
The teaching was delivered during the Holy Liturgy that the hierarch officiated at the New Archbishop's Cathedral in Curtea de Argeș. The service was attended by believers from the diocese and pilgrims, who heard the Gospel of the healing of the emaciated man from Capernaum.
"If we have faith like today's weakling and we have a few close ones who are believers, we have solved the problem. You saw here that they themselves came to Jesus with the sick person and he saw their faith. He did not see the faith of the sick person," emphasized the Most Reverend Father Calinic in his teaching speech.
"Those who are with us, if they believe in God and your healing and pray, that's good, you're not alone."
"Nor did the emaciated man pray at all. Others prayed for him. That is why we must ask for the prayers of those who are healthy for those who are sick. And the miracle is that the sick man, even if he believes less, is healed through the prayers of those who pray for him," explained Father Archbishop.
