The Archdiocese of Roman and Bacău helped 7,100 children from the diocese with supplies at the beginning of the school year, as part of the "Let the children come to Me and don't stop them!" project.
The initiative aimed to support the beneficiaries of the diocesan program "Summer School - Christ, the path of our family".
Although the initial objective was to prepare 7,000 packages, the mobilization of the faithful allowed to supplement them with another 100 sets.
The diocesan project was supported by the involvement of parishes, priests, volunteers and believers, who contributed to the preparation and distribution of the packages intended for students.
On the occasion of the beginning of the school year, His Holiness Father Joachim told the students to look beyond what they are capable of achieving and to ask themselves about the value and consequences of their own choices: "Don't ask yourself only: Can I do this?, but also: Is it good to do it?. Not only: What can I become?", but also: What kind of person do I want to be?".
Through this initiative, the Archdiocese of Romanian and Bacău continues the constant support given to children and young people in the diocese.
