The Archepiscopate of Chișinău will have a Pro Vita department, announced representatives of the eparchy following the Wednesday meeting of the Permanent Council of the Diocesan Synod.

In addition to concrete support, this new initiative will include educational and informational activities in favor of life. "Organizing such a department would allow for a more coherent involvement of parishes, specialists, and volunteers in identifying needs and accompanying those who need support," transmitted representatives of the eparchy.

It is good that they are taking experience from colleagues in Jassy, where they have been working with mothers in difficult situations for a long time. In the Tula Diocese, we also help multitudes and pregnant women, but we do not yet have a separate department. It will be interesting to see how they will involve volunteers from parishes.
