Archbishop Nikitas Celebrates the Feast of St Barnabas in North Londontranslated

On Thursday, 11 June 2026, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St Barnabas, North London, on the occasion of the parish feast.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were the V. Revd Archimandrite Apostolos Trifilis, the Revd Protopresbyter Konstantinos Garivaldinos, Vicar General, the Revd Protopresbyter Panagiotis Dik, the Revd Oeconomos Petros Georgiou, the Revd Presbyters Pavlos Lambrou and Gregorios-Palamas Florides. Also serving were the Revd Archdeacon George Tsourous and the Revd Deacon Constantinos Banias. His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Claudiopolis joined prayerfully in the Holy Altar.

The church was filled with faithful from across London and beyond, including a group of pilgrims from Cardiff who traveled to participate in the celebrations.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a festive community meal was held in the parish hall. During the gathering, members of the Cardiff community greeted His Eminence and presented him with gifts as a token of their love and respect.
