Archbishop Nathaniel Officiates the Divine Liturgy and Blesses the New Parish Center at St. John Chrysostom Romanian Orthodox Church in Old Hickory(Nashville), Tennessee

On the Third Sunday after Pentecost, the Sunday of All Athonite Saints, June 21, 2026, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America, officiated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at St. John Chrysostom Romanian Orthodox Church in Old Hickory (Nashville), Tennessee.
The visit took place on the occasion of the parish’s 26th anniversary and the blessing of its new parish center, a beautiful and much-needed addition to the life of the community. The new center includes space for Sunday School, a kitchen, and a social hall, offering the parish a place for education, fellowship, and continued growth in its ministry.
The celebration began on Saturday evening with the Vespers Service and continued on Sunday morning with the Holy and Divine Liturgy. Assisting His Eminence at the Holy and Divine Liturgy were Rev. Fr. Karol Bratosin, parish priest; Rev. Fr. Ciprian Grădinaru, attached clergy; and Rev. Hdn. Benedict Oancea.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel blessed the new parish center, giving thanks to God for the completion of this important project in the life of the community. In his words of…
