Archbishop Michael Celebrates Holy Trinity Parish’s 62nd Anniversary in Randolph, NJ, with Visit of the Miraculous Hawai’ian Iveron Icon and Presentation of Holy Relics

[Randolph, NJ] - Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Randolph, NJ , welcomed his Eminence, Archbishop Michael, on the weekend of October 10-11, celebrating the Church’s 62nd anniversary.
At Great Vespers on Saturday, His Eminence presented the Archpriest David R. Fox and the parish with an Antimension (a cover and substitute for the altar table, on which the Eucharist is prepared). The new antimension contains the relics of St. Basil Martysz, a Polish saint, protege of St. Tikhon of Moscow, who worked in America and died in 1945.
His Eminence also presented the parish with a reliquary containing a sacred fragment of the remains of St. Olga of Alaska, the first North American woman saint, a gift from Archbishop Alexei and the Diocese of Sitka and Alaska. The faithful of Holy Trinity will venerate and treasure this relic of the simple woman who led a quiet life of service and healing ministry to women.
