GLEN MILLS, PA [DOEPA] - From August 8-9, 2026, His Eminence Archbishop Mark of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania made an archpastoral visit to St. Herman of Alaska Church in Glen Mills, PA, for the parish’s patronal celebration of the Feast of the Glorification of Venerable Herman of Alaska, Wonderworker of All America.

Nice to read that Archbishop Mark came to Glen Mills especially for Herman Day. Our small community here in Hamburg also celebrated the same holiday last year with a simple lunch after the liturgy - always impressive how the Saint of Alaska holds the entire church in America together. Did you also have an akathist or just the usual festive liturgy?
