Archbishop Celebrates the Nativity of the Theotokos at the Diocesan Cathedral

CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On Tuesday, September 8, the Great Feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Diocese of the Midwest presided over divine services at the Diocesan Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL.
His Eminence was assisted by Priest Alexander Koranda, Cathedral Dean, Archpriest Michael Myers, Deacon Paul Garklavs, and Deacon Timothy Heinbokel. The Cathedral Choir was led by Reader Vladimir Lymar.
The Archbishop greeted the faithful that were gathered for the feast reminding the faithful of the important role the Mary holds in Orthodoxy and the intimate role that she has with her Son, our Lord and Savior.
