Archbishop Appoints Priest John Segvitch as Dean of Chicago Deanery
CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On Wednesday, August 26, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Diocese of the Midwest sent a message to clergy of the Chicago Deanery notifying them of the newly appoint Dean for the Chicago Deanery.
Priest John Segvitch, Rector of St. Joseph Church, Wheaton, IL, will be appointed at Dean September 1, 2026, taking the place of Archpriest Alexander Kuchta, who is retiring this year.
His Eminence further thanked Father Alexander Kuchta for his many years of dedicated and faithful service to the Deanery and Diocese.
