ANNOUNCEMENT. VI youth bell ringing festival “BOGATYR CHIMS” – 2026translated
On August 1-2, the parish of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Bogatyrskaya (on the outskirts of Polotsk) will host the VI youth bell ringing festival “BOGATYRSKY CHIMS” - 2026. Everyone is invited!

The purpose of the festival: “Bogatyr Chimes” is the revival of the traditions of church bell ringing, the transfer of experience and training in bell-ringing techniques.
During the festival, each participant, regardless of experience, will acquire the skills of ensemble ringing, a sense of bell rhythm, careful attitude to the bell instrument, and will touch the art of companology.
FESTIVAL PROGRAM
August 1 (Saturday)
Parish of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Bogatyrskaya.
12:00 – Arrival of participants (if necessary, meeting of participants at the Polotsk train station*)
12:30 – Lunch
13:00 – Prayer service for the beginning of every business
13:30 – Tour of the temple
14:00 – Master class / rehearsal at the bell tower
17:00 – All-night vigil
19:30-21:00 – Concert of bell music
21:30 – Evening prayers
22:00 – Evening bonfire
