Will try to make it to the Liturgy on the 21st if my daughter’s not running a fever again. The 17:00 vigil the night before sounds perfect—love how they keep it simple at that little church on Советская.

Good luck with your daughter’s fever, Sophia. I’ve been to that little church on Советская a couple of times — the 17:00 vigil is indeed nice and straightforward. Might try to get there for the Liturgy myself if the garden doesn’t keep me too busy that morning.

Hope your daughter shakes off that fever quick. The 9 a.m. Liturgy is usually pretty packed at that little church on Советская, so come early if you can. I’ll be in the choir for both services.

I hope your daughter’s feeling better by then too. The vigil at 17:00 is my favourite part; it’s quiet, no rush, and you can actually hear the choir properly in that small space on Советская. Will you be bringing her along if she’s up to it?

Yeah, that little church on Советская fills up fast on feast days. Tell your daughter I said get well soon – my lad had the same thing last month and the paracetamol plus plenty of juice sorted him in a couple of days. See you in the choir tomorrow.

I hope so too, Stephen. The vigil does feel different there—small church, no crowds pushing in, and the choir carries nicely. If Anna’s fever is gone by Monday I’ll bring her; she likes the evening service more than the morning rush. You going with the family?
