ANDREY GYUROV IN RUSE: ECONOMIC SECURITY IS NATIONAL SECURITYtranslated

The presidential candidate: Ruse deserves connectivity, a clean environment, investment and a perspective for the young, not just nostalgia for its glorious past.
"When transport, manufacturing and trade begin to bypass Bulgaria, the consequences are less investment, more uncertainty and lower incomes." This was stated by the presidential candidate Andrey Gyurov at a meeting with citizens at the State Opera House in Ruse.
In the "city of the first", he focused the conversation on the economic and transport risks facing Ruse and the country - the increase in insurance prices for shipping in the Black Sea, the refusal of carriers to accept cargo, the region's dependence on the Danube Bridge and the upcoming long-term repair of the railway connection with Romania.
"I will not get tired of repeating it: economic security is national security. The state must be proactive and look for answers to risks with reforms before they have turned into critical problems," Gyurov emphasized.
According to him, transport connectivity is not only a regional issue. It determines whether Bulgaria will attract new industries, whether Bulgarian companies will have access to markets and whether young people will see an opportunity for development...
