All-Night Vigil on the eve of the Feast of the Procession of the Precious Wood of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord

On the eve of the Feast of the Procession of the Precious Wood of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, as well as the commemoration of the Seven Holy Maccabean Martyrs, their mother Solomonia, and their teacher Eleazar, on July 31, 2026, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine presided over the All-Night Vigil at the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Volodymyr in Kyiv.

Concelebrating with the Primate of the autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine were Bishop Theodosiy of Irpin, Bishop Raphael of Makariv, the cathedral’s dean Archpriest Borys Tabachek, the cathedral clergy, and invited members of the clergy.

During the service, the Cross of the Lord was solemnly brought into the center of the cathedral for the veneration of the faithful.
