“Academic meetings” in the new academic year opened with a discussion of the school subject “Russian DNA”translated

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, in the new building of the Ekaterinburg Theological Seminary The first “Academic Meeting” of the new academic year was now held in the new building of the Ekaterinburg Theological Seminary in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy made a report to the Ural pedagogical community on the topic “DNA of Russia: you can’t be late to lay down the foundation.”

The regional Minister of Education Svetlana Yuryevna Trenikhina congratulated on the start of the new cycle of “Academic Meetings”; she called the meeting in the new building of the Ural Theological School a real gift to the teaching community.

The event began with the solemn signing of the Plan of joint activities of the regional Ministry of Education and the Yekaterinburg, Kamensk, Alapaevsk, Nizhny Tagil and Serov dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church for the 2026/2027 academic year.
