Ajunul hramului la o biserică din Fălticeni: Moaștele Sfinților Epictet și Astion au fost purtate în procesiune

Moaștele Sfinților Epictet și Astion au fost purtate duminică în procesiune, în ajunul hramului Bisericii „Sfântul Ilie” din Fălticeni, județul Suceava.

Evenimentul a reunit clerici, monahi, autorități și numeroși credincioși, care au însoțit sfintele moaște pe străzile municipiului într-un pelerinaj devenit tradiție.

La manifestare a participat și Preasfințitul Părinte Damaschin Dorneanul, Episcop vicar al Arhiepiscopiei Sucevei și Rădăuților.

După binecuvântarea ierarhului, procesiunea a pornit de la Biserica „Sfântul Ilie”, parcurgând mai multe artere ale orașului. Pe traseu au fost rostite ectenii în apropierea Spitalului Municipal, la Biserica „Adormirea Maicii Domnului”, în fața Primăriei și pe esplanada Catedralei „Învierea Domnului” din oraș.

O tradiție a comunității La finalul evenimentului, Episcopul vicar Damaschin Dorneanul a explicat că procesiunea a fost și un prilej de rugăciune pentru nevoile comunității. Preasfinția Sa a amintit că, în dreptul spitalului, au fost înălțate rugăciuni pentru cei bolnavi și pentru personalul medical, iar în apropierea noului sediu al Primăriei participanții s-au rugat pentru cei chemați să administreze comunitatea.…

Bine că au trecut și pe la spital cu moaștele. Rugăciunea pentru bolnavi și doctori e cea mai la timp. La noi în parohie am făcut o procesiune mai mică vara trecută, dar tot se simțea puterea.
